5 Awesome Ways to Enhance your Wedding

1. Photo Booth… while photo booths are more and more popular, be sure to explore all the options. If you are an active social media user, find a photo booth that uploads the photos to your favorite social sites. Be sure the booth is something for your guests to enjoy, yet provides you with all the fun candid photos in a scrap book or digit file to keep for years of memories.

2. Lighting… the lighting within your room sets the tone. Lighting, done wrong, can make your wedding feel like you are under stadium flood lights, or in a 1986 roller rink with cheesy blinky colored lights. Lighting done right, can create a mood or atmosphere with subliminal cues given to guests of where to look based on spot lighting, pin lighting, and animation of the lights to mirror the pace of the music.

3. Menu… your wedding menu can be “typical banquet food” or can be unique, fun, and different. If you are bored of the same ‘ole chicken dish consider a station party with a seemingly never ending array of fun foods including a sushi station, carving station, fajita bar, mashed potato bar, mac and cheese station, as examples. Your guests will not remember years later what they ate at your wedding unless it stood out!

4. Theme. That’s right… you can theme your wedding to make it more memorable. Some unique weddings we have entertained for include Halloween themes, Disney themes, fall themed, wine and spirits themed, beach or nautical themed, and more. Incorporating a theme helps “brand” your wedding day with a personality to match your vision or wedding day dreams.

5. Master of Ceremonies. Perhaps the most important hired help for the day. Your Master of Ceremonies or MC (or host/narrator as we at Xplosive Entertainment prefer to call them) adds personality, charisma and direction to your celebration. The MC will ensure that guests always know what is going on. The music will surely tell the story, but the MC will guide your guests on the night’s journey. A well-spoken and experienced MC will keep guests on their feet dancing the night (or day) away.
